Fuego

A version that stays nimble, building on a bed of synth and loops until the band finds a space that recalls some of their finest play and lingers briefly, without losing momentum, honing an aggressive edge that gains focus and intensity. A true rocker.

Mercury

After a string of post-Sigma Oasis versions that were mostly compact, it seems the band is ready to stretch "Mercury" out again, underscored by this being the longest version since 2019. Mellow and brooding at first, the tempo rises and by 12:00, it's a perfect beach jam. The band builds towards a peak, but never quite reaches the summit. There's a fun section at the end where Trey seems like he wants to wind things down and Fish barrels through the stop sign, leading to a another couple minutes of jamming, which eventually gives way to > "Boogie On Reggae Woman".

Setlist notes

This show featured the debut of Fling Your Head. Breath and Burning was performed for the first time since July 24, 2022 (160 shows). Trey teased Call to the Post at the end of Chalk Dust Torture. Character Zero contained a Heartbreaker (Led Zeppelin) jam. Dog Faced Boy was performed for the first time since October 30, 2021 (186 shows).
