Jam chart entries
Free

Builds on Free's recent uptick (12/28/19) in a big way with extra attention being given to the usual funky jam section (watch out for Mike's thumping bass) and then > into the always-welcome "Shipwreck".

Shipwreck

"Shipwreck" emerges in the middle of a strong "Free" and serves as a refreshing contrast to the usual jam format.

Free

-> from "Shipwreck" as "Free" creeps back in and concludes a great segment with "Rescue Squad" quotes thrown in for good measure.

Beneath a Sea of Stars Part 1

Drifts out of the usual jam into a stark minor key jam at Mike's urging, builds up a thick synth-laden ambient fog like it's 1999 all over again, and then gently returns to the main theme. A good omen for the future of "Beneath a Sea of Stars Part 1"'s improvisational future.

Versions phish.net's jam charts single out as noteworthy.

Setlist notes

This show featured multiple bustouts: Torn and Frayed was last played on July 7, 2012 (285 shows), Shipwreck was last played on October 31, 2014 (189 shows), and Shake Your Coconuts was played on July 21, 2017 (100 shows). The return to Free contained Rescue Squad and Shipwreck quotes. The lyrics in Shake Your Coconuts were changed to "It's Phish in Mexico time." Trey teased Walk This Way in You Enjoy Myself.
