Jam chart entries
Mike's Song

The single jam has a funky bent at first. After working through some typical terrain, the funk comes back, especially after 8:30 when the jam takes on a "BEK"-like vibe, accentuated by some nice stop/start action.

Simple

The jam that emerges begins subtly, then grows some legs as Fish and Mike kick the funk into gear before morphing back into a quiet, contemplative jam. Extremely improvisational version. Seamless segue sounds at first like a move to "Bowie" but becomes "Timber" instead.

Timber (Jerry the Mule)

Segue -> in from a 30 minute "Simple," this version restores the jam to its typical place of darkness, and has an almost '95 psychedelic feel to it, with Fish kicking the percussion into heavier action.

Versions phish.net's jam charts single out as noteworthy.

Soundcheck

Blues Jam, Dog Log > Jam

Setlist notes

Trey teased Buried Alive in CDT. Hood included a brief return to the Axilla theme. The jam out of the soundecheck's Dog Log included a “Chain Link Fence…In the Cage” rap with lyrics about Paul in the FOH mix position.
