Jam chart entries
Split Open and Melt

"SOAM" -> "Kung" -> "SOAM." The jam itself is decent, dissonant, and moderately exploratory.

Kung

-> in from "SOAM," -> back to "SOAM."

Split Open and Melt

-> in from "Kung" to complete this "SOAM" sandwich.

Maze

-> in from "Lengthwise." Page shines for an extended section starting at 3:15 through 5:00, where the jam goes from near silence to a more predictable jam. Fish's driving play keeps things at a breakneck speed. The jam ends with soaring licks from Trey.

Harry Hood

The first seriously "Type II" "Hood" includes some very experimental jamming. Parts of this exploration are mildly dissonant and very un-"Hood"-like, while other sections are quite spectacular. The "Type I" ending is first rate.

Versions phish.net's jam charts single out as noteworthy.

Setlist notes

This show marked the Phish debut of Golden Lady. Esther included Random Note and Simpsons signals. Page teased Esther in McGrupp. Nellie Kane and Foreplay/Long Time were performed acoustic and without microphones.
